Jakarta's Finest a.k.a Macet

Yesterday was one of the fine example of Jakarta's Finest. On one Thursday evening, my dear friend of mine and my self caught in a series of what we called 'loong weekend's eve" frenzy.

Imagine...
2 HOURS of leg and butt cramped, only from Ratu Plaza to Kemang (just around 4 kilos straight road) not to mention sweet smell of tar and CO. And we both wonder that in this madness, the solution is quite simple: LEADERSHIP

Traffic jam, along with corruption, is not culture ladies and gentlemen, it is merely a simple problem with a simple solution.
Now, leadership is part of our fitrah as human. Now this fitrah bring us to condition that, if one is not the leader, one will be the one who is being lead.

In this age, some people tends to think that leadership is equal with government official, policeman, general, honorable member of people's council etcetera etcetera etcetera.

But in reality it is not!

Leadership means to protect, to serve, to be humble, to lead, to get you from point A to B.
Leadership is being obey and obeyed.
Leadership is to obey Allah and Rasulullah, salallahu alayhi wa salam

Without it one will never be a leader, one will simply ends up being a ruler. In a car seat (another dear friend of mine simply called it: a stove), we sat, we wonder, and we drove by.

We ask Allah to bring a true leader amongst us...

Salam Sidi Abdarahman,
Nice to read your personal musings and encounters with sh.abdal qadir fuqara. Last night 1 Ogos 2007, we had Yahaya Schroeder from Germany as guest speaker at elite sekolah alam shah putrajaya. How I found islam at the age of 18.Now only 10 months old. He met Redhuan Oon of Adempiere in Postdam and was invited to Malaysia.

When i said the shahada, tomorow was ramadhan fasting just imagine. Then tomorow is my first day at new school and a new life with my father whom separated from my mum. Now I was blessed by Allah with a big family. East and west, such is the baraka from our Master Sh.abdal qadir as-sufi.

We sang the Burdah and Diwan of SM Habib to about 500 students. What a tremendous night.
